L. S. Starrett Company
(NYSE: SCX) is an American manufacturer of tools and instruments. Its products are well known among machinists and tool and die makers. The company was founded when businessman and inventor Laroy Sunderland Starrett (1836–1922), who was born in China, Maine, bought the Athol Machine Company in 1905. The company patented such items as the sliding combination square, bench vises, and a shoe hook fastener. They make precision steel rules and tapes, calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, among many other things.
I DO NOT warranty any of these items for accuracy. Please calibrate instruments properly before using. I am not a machinist, I am simply a treasure hunter. I did have these tools looked at by an experienced machinist and he agreed that they were all in great shape. Most, if not all, of the tools are marked with the previous owners name or initials. Make sure this is acceptable to you before bidding!!

All items are for sale locally also, so bid early and often or these items may be removed from eBay with no notice. If the bid gets to an acceptable level on eBay, I will refer all local buyers to eBay for bidding. If local buyer gives a reasonable offer before eBay offer, they will be sold to the in person buyer.
I will combine shipping on any of my other auctions to save you on shipping. I do not try to make money on shipping. I want to simply cover my costs. Please request combined shipping before paying through PayPal. I generally do not offer International shipping, but will review your feedback scores and possibly add you to the "include" list for buying on my store. International buyers pay actual shipping prices using USPS Priority Mail only and are responsible for all VAT taxes and customs import fees.
